Terms and Conditions of Participation
Sunday, April 19th, 2026
In Person • Private Yurt (approximately 45 minutes from Calgary) • 4:00-7:00 PM
Plus one online integration call via Zoom (date provided separately)
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) outline the legally binding terms between Jessica Laporte (the “Facilitator”) and each participant (“Participant”) regarding participation in Sacred Rage Ritual (the “Experience”).
By registering for or submitting payment for the Experience, you agree to the following terms.
1. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
Sacred Rage Ritual is an in-person, single-session embodied personal growth experience for women, designed to support healthy emotional expression, self-awareness, and nervous-system regulation through guided somatic and expressive practices.
The Experience includes:
One (1) in-person ritual session (approximately 3 hours)
One (1) live online integration call via Zoom approximately one week later
The Experience may involve guided emotional expression (including anger and grief), somatic and embodiment practices, vocalization, movement, grounding, reflection, and facilitated group processes.
Location:
The Experience will take place in a private yurt located approximately 45 minutes from downtown Calgary. The exact address and logistical details will be provided upon registration.
Nature of Services
This Experience is educational and personal-development oriented. It is not psychotherapy, counseling, mental health treatment, medical care, or a substitute for licensed professional services. Participation does not establish a therapist–client, counselor–client, or medical relationship.
2. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
This Experience is women-only (adult, female, human beings)
Participants must be 18 years of age or older
By registering, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.
3. PRICING & PAYMENT TERMS
All payments are pay-in-full only
Registration applies to the full Experience, including the integration call
Participants are responsible for any payment processing or banking fees charged by their financial institution
4. CANCELLATION, TRANSFER & REFUND POLICY
No Refund Policy
All sales are final.
No refunds will be issued for missed attendance, scheduling conflicts, illness, emotional readiness, or early withdrawal.
Facilitator Cancellation
If the Facilitator cancels the Experience, participants will receive a full refund of tuition.
Transfer Policy
Participants may transfer their spot to another eligible individual, or to another offering from the Facilitator with written notice prior to the event.
Transfers are subject to Facilitator approval.
5. PARTICIPATION, CONSENT & PHYSICAL CONTACT
This Experience may include facilitator-to-participant physical contact for grounding, support, or guidance only with explicit, informed, and ongoing consent.
By participating, you acknowledge and agree that:
You may decline or revoke consent for physical contact at any time
You are responsible for communicating your boundaries clearly
No physical contact between participants is permitted
6. EMOTIONAL & MENTAL HEALTH RESPONSIBILITY
Because this Experience involves emotional expression and somatic release, you acknowledge and agree that:
You are responsible for assessing your own emotional readiness and capacity to participate
This Experience is not appropriate for individuals currently in acute mental health crisis, including but not limited to active suicidal ideation, unmanaged PTSD episodes, psychosis, mania, severe dissociation, untreated bipolar disorder, active addiction, or conditions requiring immediate clinical intervention.
You agree to seek professional mental health support outside of this Experience if needed.
The Facilitator does not diagnose, treat, or manage mental health conditions and is not responsible for post-session emotional integration outside the scope of the Experience.
7. CONFIDENTIALITY & GROUP AGREEMENT
The Experience involves shared personal expression in a group setting.
By participating, you agree to the following confidentiality commitments:
What is shared by other participants during the Experience or integration call is confidential
You will not disclose, repeat, record, or share identifying stories, names, or personal details of other participants outside the container
You may share your own experience only, without revealing the identities or personal content of others
While the Facilitator will uphold confidentiality to the extent reasonably possible, you acknowledge that confidentiality in group settings cannot be absolutely guaranteed and agree to participate with this understanding.
8. CODE OF CONDUCT & FACILITATOR AUTHORITY
To preserve safety and integrity, the Facilitator reserves the right to:
Set boundaries, pause processes, or redirect participation as needed
Remove any Participant whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or violates consent or confidentiality agreements
Removal for conduct reasons does not entitle the Participant to a refund.
9. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIABILITY WAIVER
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you acknowledge and agree that:
Participation involves inherent emotional and physical risks
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation
You release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Facilitator from any claims, demands, damages, or liabilities arising from participation
This waiver applies to you and, where applicable, your heirs, assigns, and legal representatives.
10. PHOTOGRAPHY & RECORDING
Participants may not record any part of the Experience without explicit permission
The Facilitator will not take photographs or videos for educational or marketing purposes
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All teachings, rituals, processes, language, and facilitation methods are the intellectual property of the Facilitator and may not be reproduced, taught, recorded, or distributed without written permission.
12. FORCE MAJEURE
The Facilitator shall not be liable for delay, modification, or cancellation of the Experience due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, severe weather, government restrictions, illness, venue issues, or emergencies.
In such cases, the Facilitator reserves the right to reschedule, modify, or cancel the Experience, with refunds issued at the Facilitator’s discretion where applicable.
13. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
14. ENTIRE AGREEMENT & MODIFICATIONS
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Facilitator and Participant regarding the Experience.
No modification or waiver shall be valid unless made in writing by the Facilitator.
15. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any legal proceedings shall be filed in Edmonton, Alberta.
16. ACKNOWLEDGMENT & ACCEPTANCE
By registering for Sacred Rage Ritual, you confirm that you:
Have read and understood these Terms and Conditions
Accept full responsibility for your participation
Agree to all terms voluntarily and without coercion
